Splunk - Service and Architecture Lead

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the Splunk service portfolio across all regions. • Define and maintain the Splunk architecture roadmap in alignment with enterprise IT strategy. • Govern the managed service provider’s performance through structured KPI and SLA frameworks. • Collaborate with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure and integrated observability solutions. • Lead service reviews and drive corrective actions and improvements. • Monitor and report on service performance, data ingestion health, and operational metrics. • Drive automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities across Splunk platforms. • Act as the primary escalation point for major incidents and service disruptions. • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. • Lead vendor management and contract negotiations for Splunk-related services and tools. ________________________________________ Team & Reporting • Splunk services are delivered by a managed service provider under your governance. • You will work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams. • Reports to Digital Infrastructure Leadership. • Leads cross-functional collaboration across global teams and business units. ________________________________________ Profile Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in observability, monitoring, or log analytics platforms. • Proven experience managing services through external providers with SLA/KPI frameworks. • Strong knowledge of Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk ITSI, and related integrations. • Experience with ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow). • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills. • Strategic thinker with hands-on technical capabilities. ________________________________________ Soft Skills • Collaborate: Builds strong relationships across internal and external teams. • Customer Focus: Advocates for user-centric service design and delivery. • Plan and Align: Strategically prioritizes initiatives to meet business goals. ________________________________________ Key Attributes • Governance-Oriented: Ensures service provider accountability through structured performance management. • Strategic and Technical: Balances long-term architectural vision with operational excellence. • Resilient: Handles complex challenges and escalations with professionalism. • Innovative: Continuously seeks opportunities to improve observability and service efficiency. • Accountable: Owns service outcomes and drives continuous improvement through data-driven decisions. ________________________________________ What We Offer • A leadership role in a global, high-tech enterprise environment. • Opportunities for professional growth and certification. • Competitive compensation and benefits. • A culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
