What You'll Do
- Lead the architectural definition, micro-architecture, and detailed design of complex systems on chip (SoCs). * Drive the entire design flow from specification to tape-out, including RTL design, solid knowledge of Frontend Sign-off tools (Lint, CDC/RDC, ELAB synthesis) and additionally static timing analysis (STA), formal verification, and power analysis would be preferred. * Collaborate with system architects, verification teams, software teams, and physical design teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. * Develop and implement innovative design methodologies and best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and time-to-market. * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and senior design engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. * Conduct thorough design reviews, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and company policies. * Act as a technical expert and key contributor in strategic roadmap discussions and technology evaluations. * Troubleshoot and debug complex design issues at various stages of the development cycle. * Contribute to the creation of detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, verification plans, and test reports.
- Job Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of progressive experience in digital IC design, with a strong emphasis on architectural definition, RTL design and Quality checks. * Proven expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design. * Deep understanding of ASIC design flows. * Extensive experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex designs. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineers. * Familiarity with embedded processors (e.g., ARM, RISC-V) and their integration is a plus. * Knowledge of various communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet, MIPI) is highly desirable.
