What You'll Do

• Mission Description The apprentice will be responsible for one or more of the following activities: Evaluate the different PCB simulation flows integrated into EDA tools Propose a PCB design flow Develop electronic boards following the proposed design flow Perform EMC tests (emissions and immunity) on the developed test boards Analyze test results and identify root causes of discrepancies between measurements and simulations Set up test equipment: automation of test benches, design and manufacturing of mechanical parts when required Write test reports and present results to the EMC/ESD team Participate in lessons learned and propose improvements to the PCB design flow Comply with safety procedures for test equipment and specific operating instructions Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree level (Bac +3), student in BUT or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Microelectronics / Physical Measurements Desired Skills and Knowledge Electronics / Microelectronics Instrumentation and test bench automation Basic knowledge of EMC for components and RF Basic knowledge of PCB design using Cadence Allegro or OrCAD A first experience in measurement/validation or test laboratory environment would be a plus Soft Skills Rigor and autonomy Passionate and curious mindset Analytical thinking Proactive and self‑driven Additional Expectations Engineering school specialization in Electronics Analog and RF electronics Teamwork (engineers and apprentices) Strong adaptability A good level of English is required More information about NXP in France... #LI-8e4d
