About This Role
- As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-speed and complex solutions for Intel's cutting-edge platforms, boards, and packages.

- Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages, including 2D and 3D model extractions of electrical structures for dietodie interconnects. - Define signal integrity rules and review design implementations to ensure compliance. - Perform simulations of interconnects to optimize design margins and guide package and platform-level physical implementations. - Design and characterize test structures to correlate simulations and measurements using high-speed equipment. - Debug signal integrity challenges, providing analysis and solutions to improve performance. - Develop electrical specifications and contribute to the creation of new industry-standard interconnect specifications. - Document and deliver characterization, measurement reports, and implementation guidelines as part of the platform design guide. - Collaborate with IP design teams and silicon integration teams to ensure optimal SoC and platform-level solutions, addressing issues such as attenuation, crosstalk, jitter, power noise, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 0-1 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in signal integrity solutions or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in 3D modeling and simulation tools for signal integrity analysis. - Knowledge of signal and power integrity principles and methodologies. - Familiarity with analog/mixed signal testing techniques.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with high-speed equipment for testing and debugging signal integrity issues. - Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence industry standards.
