- You’ll work at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and OS — tackling real challenges that impact Wi‑Fi reliability on every Intel-powered platform shipped worldwide.
- Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver new WiFi kernel-mode driver features from concept to integration Participate in driver and embedded development for large-scale, real-world systems Hunt down and fix complex bugs across firmware, driver, and OS boundaries Collaborate with firmware, other drivers and applications teams across Intel and with external partners Gain hands-on mentorship from experienced engineers in a cross-functional environment Qualifications: Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with programming in C / C++ At least 3 semesters remaining until graduation Minimum of 20 hours per week availability Excellent written and verbal English skills Preferred Skills Experience with Windows kernel development or similar low-level programming (drivers, firmware, embedded) Experience using AI tools for design, programming, and testing Understanding of operating system internals — threads, processes, memory management, power states, kernel architecture Understanding of hardware–software interaction and embedded systems Job Type: Student / Intern Shift: Shift 1 (Israel) Primary Location: Israel, Petah-Tikva Additional Locations: Business group: Silicon and Platform Engineering Group (SPE): Deliver breakthrough silicon and platform solutions that deliver industry-leading products today while also defining the next generation of computing experiences.
