Senior Engineer, Global Facilities US - Mechanical

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience. 7+ years of experience in facilities engineering, design, construction, operations, or maintenance within semiconductor manufacturing or other complex high-tech industrial environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, including HVAC, exhaust and abatement systems, vacuum systems, process cooling systems, and central utilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional projects, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and business partners.
• Experience using data analytics, digital tools, and AI-enabled technologies to improve engineering efficiency, decision-making, and operational performance.
• Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering subject area.
• Experience supporting Greenfield semiconductor FAB development or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability programs, environmental design principles, and energy optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with global engineering standards, reliability programs, and facilities operational standard processes.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent industry certification.
• The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $98,000.00 - $243,000.00 a year Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
