Industrial Engineer (Data Analytics) (Contract role)

About This Role

• Industrial Engineer specializing in automation to design and implement innovative automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention in our semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• This role combines technical expertise in programming and data analysis with industrial engineering principles to drive continuous improvement and optimize factory operations.
• Key Responsibilities Automation Development & Implementation Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce manual processes Create scripts and automation tools using Python and other relevant programming languages Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation and data handling Data Management & Analysis Work with relational databases using SQL and NoSQL for data extraction, transformation, and integration into automation workflows Analyze process data and provide actionable insights to optimize performance Utilize data visualization tools (Power BI, Power Apps) to present findings and recommendations Conduct complex modeling to improve factory output and network performance Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Lead key initiatives in forecasting and continuous improvement to optimize operational efficiency and workflow Conduct comprehensive studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production systems Develop and implement facility modification plans and operational method revisions based on analytical findings Define and manage tool metrics, monitor performance, and drive productivity improvements Qualifications: Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT Hands-on experience in automation development (not just maintenance) Prior experience integrating databases into automation solutions Technical Skills Strong programming and scripting skills using Python, SQL, NoSQL Familiar with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (ElasticSearch, etc.) Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Power Apps) Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases Ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code Job Type: Shift: Shift 1 (Vietnam) Primary Location: Vietnam, Ho_Chi_Minh_City Additional Locations: Business group: Intel's Human Resources group is responsible for hiring, developing and retaining the best and brightest employees while continuing to strengthen the company's culture and values.
