About This Role
- The Role and Impact The GPU Validation Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring Intel's GPUs perform at their peak potential and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- As part of the graphics validation team, you will contribute to defining, developing, and executing functional validation methodologies for Intel's cutting-edge GPUs.
- Your work will directly impact the quality and performance of Intel's GPU products, driving innovation for media, display, and system-level features that power modern computing experiences.
- This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams to troubleshoot, optimize designs, and enhance validation strategies, helping Intel maintain its leadership in the GPU industry.
- Key Responsibilities Define and execute GPU functional validation plans to ensure product performance, power, and area goals are met.
- Perform silicon debug and execute tests to identify root causes and resolve GPU-related issues.
- Apply hardware and software tools and techniques to validate GPU features and interactions.
- Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and state space coverage tools.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, board, platform, and manufacturing teams to optimize validation methodologies and improve test strategies.
- Review proposed design changes to assess their impact on validation plans and timelines.
- Publish comprehensive GPU validation reports, summarizing activities, results, and findings, and communicate with relevant teams.
- Test and validate interactions between GPU features using a robust validation infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM related field or a Master’s degree in a related field with no prior experience required.
- Experience should include the following: GPU validation Strong technical expertise in GPU architecture and system-level interactions.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
- GPU debug process experience Familiarity with post-silicon validation infrastructure and test environment development.
- Experience with silicon debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Proven ability to communicate findings effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $105,650.00-172,860.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
- Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
