  • As a Facilities Automation and Controls FMS TD Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide Facilities engineering support to factory customers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.
  • Own safety within area of influence.
  • Ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions, own system documentation and maintenance strategy.
  • Provide direct support of troubleshooting efforts for new and existing systems, including but not limited to end-of-life systems.
  • Develops industrial instrumentation and automation systems required for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and programming of existing analytical instrumentation for labs, manufacturing, and facilities systems.
  • Designs and develops new control systems and tests and maintains and modifies existing systems.
  • Continuous maintenance and upkeep of industrial automation systems is critical.
  • Analyzes data and presents findings in written reports and provides advice and consultancy support.
  • Manages projects within cost and time constrained environments and manages day-to-day operations associated with instrumentation and controls.
  • Assists in purchasing equipment, writing computer software and test procedures.
  • Conducts troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, develops engineering solutions to address and rectify issues, and manages long-term equipment improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or similar Engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience or Master's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or similar Engineering discipline with 1+ years of experience.
  • Experienced mentioned above should be in Industrial automation platforms, such as GE Cimplicity or Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products used in Facility Automation Systems (PLC and SCADA).
  • Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading facility expansion or layout design projects. - Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize operational systems. - Prior experience in coordinating and overseeing contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $52,000.00-$200,000.00 (Hourly Role) The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
