About This Role

  • The Engineering FPnA analyst provides critical financial planning and analysis support to the Silicon and Platform Engineering group.
  • The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Serve as a key financial partner to groups leadership, providing ongoing financial guidance and actionable insights.
  • Lead annual and quarterly forecasting processes in partnership with operations influencing the decision-making process.
  • Own monthly close activities, provide cycle over cycle analysis business insights, and risks and opportunities to improve predictability and accuracy.
  • Support investment sizing, business case development, and scenario modeling for engineering initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements to increase efficiency and data integrity.
  • Participate in cross-functional finance initiatives focused on standardization and operational excellence.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision making in partnership with management.
  • A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits: Strong financial analysis with ability to interpret data and translate it into clear business insights.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) with ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business partnership, influence stakeholders, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Problem solving with ability to drive root cause analysis and solutions.
  • Self-driven, action-oriented, and focused on continuous process improvement and automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA an advantage). 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business modelling.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • Experience with Power BI, or other data visualization and analytic tools.
  • Passion and knowledge for driving process improvements, automation, standardization, and business process management.
