- The AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) is an essential component of the factory.
- It manages the storage and transportation of wafers and reticles in a cleanroom environment.
- The New Mexico AMHS team provides services to the Rio Rancho campus, comprising of Fab 11 and 9.
- The team collaborates with other Intel factories worldwide to maintain consistency in their service and deliver world-class results.
- Want to learn more about this opportunity? The successful candidate in this role will perform the following but not limited to: Design, develop, test, and debug software for wafer and reticle storage and transportation.
- Work with firmware, drivers, operating systems, database and storage platforms, firewalls and algorithms.
- Partner with other IT services including Planforms, Networks, Middleware to optimize factory performance.
- Integrate New Product Introductions into the factory environments.

Requirements

- Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Requirements
- Education : The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or any other related field.
- Experience : 1+ years of experience in: Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS).
- Factory Engineering Equipment experience in a fabrication environment.
- Product Lifecycle and Mechanical Design.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years' experience in: Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), Factory Engineering Equipment experience in a fabrication environment, and Product Lifecycle and Mechanical Design.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting products.
- Experience with theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management and project management techniques/tools.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Experience with providing statistical analysis, and experience in gauge study analytics.
- Experience with data analytical/statistical tools such as: JMP or Excel/Pivot Tables.
- Experience with factory business acumen demonstrated through working successfully with customers.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $111,030.00-181,940.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
