About This Role
- Intel's Finance Organization ensures high-quality accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance globally.
- We partner across the organization to deliver accurate GAAP-compliant accounting and maintain strong internal controls.
- Lead our global equity compensation accounting and reporting function.
- You'll own end-to-end stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, manage cross-functional partnerships, and drive process improvements while leading a high-performing team.
- Key Responsibilities • Own global stock-based compensation accounting from grant to settlement • Manage ASC 718 compliance including valuations, expense recognition, and modifications • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting • Partner with Accounting Policy on technical conclusions and disclosures • Maintain SOX controls and audit readiness for equity programs • Oversee system integrations between equity platforms and general ledger • Establish governance frameworks and standard operating procedures • Support internal/external audit requirements and close collaboration with HR, Treasury, Legal, and Corporate Planning teams • Provide accounting guidance on new award structures and program changes • Lead forecasting and scenario analysis for compensation expense • Support SEC reporting and proxy disclosure requirements • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team and drive automation and process standardization initiatives • Support ERP transformation and system enhancement projects • Foster collaboration across global, matrixed teams Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance • Min 7+ years progressive accounting experience with stock compensation focus • Strong US GAAP knowledge, particularly ASC 718/IFRS2 • SOX controls and compliance experience • Proven leadership in cross-functional, complex environments • Excellent analytical and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification • SEC reporting and executive compensation experience • SAP S/4HANA and equity platform (E-Trade) knowledge • Finance transformation and automation experience • People management experience Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (Malaysia) Primary Location: Malaysia, Penang Additional Locations: Business group: Join Intel's Finance Group, a key player in driving strategic business decisions that enhance shareholder value.
