About This Role
- The Role and Impact: As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in driving Intel's financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
- In this dynamic and collaborative position, you will prepare and analyze financial records, support critical month-end and year-end processes, and contribute to delivering actionable financial insights.
- Your work will directly impact Intel's ability to make informed decisions, foster innovation, and maintain its reputation for disciplined execution within a global and fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and applicable local accounting standards. - Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to produce reports for internal and external stakeholders, including statutory and regulatory filings. - Collaborate with external auditors, government authorities, and other stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles to ensure compliance and transparency. - Ensure robust internal controls and drive adherence to defined accounting procedures, including compliance with SOX requirements. - Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. - Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, including data validation and user acceptance testing. - Serve as a key point of contact for finance-related inquiries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address unique transactions and automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Candidates should have 1-2 years of applicable work experience in similar role.
- This role is also open to fresh graduates and early-career professionals - Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.
Nice to Have
