What You'll Do
- Email, phone, and in-person technical support for regional customers.
- Technical expertise consultations for field sales teams and customers at both a component and system level.
- Conducting internal and external technical trainings.
- Design and debugging at all stages of customer’s project cycle.
- Writing technical articles and application notes.
- Creating system level demos for specific focus applications.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications: Engineering Degree, 7+ years of experience in semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering, preferably in customer support roles.
- General knowledge of analogue & mixed signal electronics.
- Specialisation in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: Precision and High Speed signal chains, Power Management, RF and Microwave, Embedded Processors, Isolation and Interface, MEMs & Sensors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor less experienced members of the team, technically and strategically.
- Strong team player capable of working in a multi-location international team.
- Able to work effectively within global organization with complex matrix structures and cross functional teams.
- Continuously seeks to improve functional and professional skills and knowledge.
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
- Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
- Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
