What You'll Do
- will include not limited to: As a technical contributor, driving continuous improvement for existing volume manufacturing processes, layers & tools.
- Working with equipment and manufacturing groups to achieve this.
- As a technical contributor working with key groups/disciplines in determining root cause analysis of yield issues, excursions, equipment downs and implementing corrective actions & robust solutions to improve the process Working with the development groups and other disciplines within Analog in defining and developing new wafer level capabilities.
- Establishing clear standards for methods of equipment and/or process work amongst shift personnel and Eng. groups – working with Equipment shift supervisors Periodic review of key metrics associated with Safety, Quality, Output and Value for Money on equipment and processes for an area and driving associated initiatives Developing own expertise of key technology changes/equipment platform changes and developments within an area Capital acquisition inclusive of definition, tool selection, installation and qualification for new technology or existing technologies Responsible for the safe practices across toolsets Representing ADI at business and technical conferences.
- Candidate Requirements: Degree in Applied Physics /Electronics/Material’s/Chemistry or relevant discipline Direct experience in one or more of the following: Etch, Lithography, Deposition, Epitaxial growth, Wet Chemistry processing, Ion Implantation, Diffusion etc 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on processing engineering Excellent technical problem solving & multi-tasking skills Good communication and interaction skills Data driven and ability to apply science theory and engineering concepts Self-directing, self-motivated and ability to work in a dynamic environment For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
- Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
- Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
