Trade Compliance Operations Coordinator

What You'll Do

• Execute assigned trade compliance activities using documented playbooks, templates, tools and decision frameworks.
• Prepare and validate classification input packages, including technical product descriptions and documentation completeness checks.
• Apply escalation rules consistently and prepare clean, authority‑ready escalation packages when playbook coverage does not apply.
• Maintain complete and consistent documentation and evidence to support audit and recordkeeping requirements.
• Support quality routines and continuous improvement by flagging unclear playbooks, recurring issues, and opportunities for standardization.
• Collaborate with the KL Operations Manager, Operations Control Tower, and authority teams to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent execution.
• Escalates cases outside playbooks via the Operations Control Tower in accordance with defined escalation rules.
• Qualifications / Experience 2–5+ years’ experience in trade compliance operations, export control operations, customs operations, logistics compliance, technical operations, or similar execution‑oriented roles.
• Strong ability to understand and work with technical product documentation and specifications.
• High attention to detail, structured working style, and comfort with documentation and evidence requirements.
• Willingness to escalate when uncertainty exists.
• Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, supply chain, applied sciences, IT, engineering, or similar), or equivalent practical experience.
• Language Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Additional languages are a plus but not required.
