Supply Chain Planner (PPF)

About This Role

• Duties: Perform professional operations research and demand planning duties in furtherance of the company's technology and business operations.
• Plan and implement activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
• Ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Coordinate with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs.
• Create and manage Master Production Schedule and associated BOMs, routings and planning parameters to drive factory orders through the material requirements planning (MRP) system.
• Balance inventory levels, factory loadings, product availability and lead times in support of business objectives.
• Global demand planning for variety of technology product families, including intensive collaboration with product and commercial marketing teams, sales, and order fulfillment team.
• Develop demand planning strategic roadmaps and work with project teams to improve forecasting and planning capabilities and efficiency; highlight and drive solutions for the potential issues such as excess material/inventory and shortage of supply.
