What You'll Do

• The trainee will perform the following tasks : Getting familiar with the scope, and documentation of the fundamentals of UWB, localization algorithms, V2X messages formats such as CAM and VAM State-of-the-art research Getting familiar with the HW (NXP UWB boards and modules) and existing SW stacks.
• Implementation on NXP UWB boards and modules localization and tracking procedures and algorithms Performance evaluation, providing quantitative LOS and NLOS performance results Providing recommendations concerning algorithms, radio configuration, and system architecture (optional) A final demonstrator, if project maturity and available time permit (optional) Publication of the results (publication channel to be defined) Your profile Final-year master’s student or engineering student in embedded systems, signal processing, wireless communications, robotics, or a related field Good programming skills in Python and/or C/C++ Knowledge of digital signal processing, estimation, localization, or wireless communication systems Familiarity with Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, or machine-learning-based classification is a plus Experience with MATLAB, embedded development, robotics, data analysis, or UWB is an advantage Practical and structured approach to experimental work Ability to work autonomously and communicate within an international, multi-site team Professional proficiency in English More information about NXP in France... #LI-3842
