What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain real-time test sequences and reusable TestStand building blocks for KPI measurement and functional validation tests. • Collaborate with test infrastructure teams to ensure modularity, maintainability, and reusability of test sequences. • Optimize and troubleshoot real-time sequences to ensure robust and reliable operation within PXI-based HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test environments. • Develop and integrate restbus simulation models for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication systems to support ECU testing. • Implement and validate test sequences for AUTOSAR-based control units in a real-time environment. • Document technical specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices for the developed sequences and modules. • Support and mentor junior test developers in effectively utilizing and expanding test infrastructure capabilities. • Participate in architecture discussions and visionary planning to continuously enhance test infrastructure efficiency and capability.
- Required Skill Set: • Extensive hands-on experience with NI TestStand, including sequence development, custom step types, and result processing. • Proficiency in NI LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA for real-time control, measurement, and automation. • Solid understanding and experience with NI VeriStand for deploying and managing real-time test environments. • Familiarity with PXI hardware platforms, including configuration and troubleshooting of multifunction DAQ modules. • Experience with HIL testing methodologies and the integration of FPGA-based test systems. • Practical experience with restbus simulation and tools for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. • Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and testing methodologies. • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including modular design, version control (e.g., Git), and continuous integration pipelines. • Ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable documentation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging complex real-time systems. • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team environment.
