Senior MPU and Embedded AI FAE - Healthcare/Industrial Focus

What You'll Do

• for the role: Deliver premium technical support in content and time to assigned customers 100% Accountable to drive design wins and revenue generation in their target accounts and target technology Leads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP solution’s design-in Synthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition, system solutions enablement, and roadmaps Establishes the value proposition of NXP's system solutions relative to competition Collaborates with sales team members, business lines, and partners in support of customer and sales team objectives Assists in training the customer, sales and distribution partners on new technologies, new product features and their value propositions.
• Develops system level knowledge of target application spaces Key Success Attributes Ability to influence and communicate the value of NXP’s products, based on inspiration, motivation and product expertise Flexible; adapts to plans easily when circumstances change Is aware of cultural differences and adapts his/her behavior accordingly Feels challenged by initiating and driving innovations Comfortable within a high performance culture, working in a target driven environment with design win and revenue targets to enhance the company’s market share High level of integrity, credibility, tenacity and commitment to excellence Curious about target customer needs, competitor technology, the eco system and next generation technologies Builds a reputation of being the go-to person for regional and business line teams to create opportunities to win and problem solve Leverage AI tools to increase job workflow efficiency Essential Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and minimum 6+ years development engineering or applications support of SoC based embedded systems Field Application Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry Demonstrated knowledge of typical SoC hardware interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, UART, LPDDR4 or LPDDR5, PCIe ) and ARM Cortex A, Cortex M, heterogeneous architecture and register programming models.
• Familiarity with Embedded Edge AI Model architecture, Workflow Tools and Model deployment is a plus Hands on experience in embedded Linux is essential: kernel and user-space and uboot environments Strong embedded software skillset for implementation of system processor solutions Hands on knowledge of camera enabled graphics/video pipelines and related software drivers helpful Ability to read, understand and review schematics and provide design recommendations essential Experience with custom board bring-up debug activities recommended Willing to travel for customer meetings, trainings Experienced in providing technical training to sales staff and distribution Proven track record of quickly learning new technologies More information about NXP in the United States...
