Senior Commodity Manager - IT

What You'll Do

• Strategic sourcing: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for IT software and IT services.
• Some hardware experience is helpful.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities Participate in supplier qualification and selection processes in collaboration with key stakeholders Supplier management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with service level agreements Cost management: Identify cost reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives Conduct spend analysis and develop strategies to optimize IT procurement costs Implement best practices to achieve cost saving targets and stay updated on industry trends to ensure NXP remains competitive Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and other relevant departments to align sourcing strategies with business objectives Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and standardization of procurement processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on IT categories Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment Proficiency in procurement software and tools Candidate must reside in Chandler, Arizona, or in Austin, Texas Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in office) More information about NXP in the United States...
