What You'll Do
- Hardware Validation & Testing: Perform functional, electrical, and environmental tests on hardware prototypes and production units.
- Validate PCB designs for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal performance.
- Conduct stress and reliability tests (e.g., temperature cycling, vibration, ESD).
- Debugging & Issue Resolution: Use diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) to troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Work with design engineers to resolve failures and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare validation plans, test procedures, and detailed reports.
- Document test results and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with design, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product development.
- Support NPI/NTI activities by validating hardware readiness for mass production.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of PCB design, hardware debugging, and validation processes is an advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer).
- Understanding of hardware design principles and signal integrity concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with industry standards (IPC, JEDEC) and compliance testing.
- Experience with scripting for automation (Python, LabVIEW) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
