NPI Project Engineer

Overview

• Job Responsibility • Lead and manage engineering activities for all New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with R&D to define product specifications and development strategies.
• Provide engineering support throughout prototype build, validation, and product release phases.
• Develop prototype and test plans based on manufacturing instructions and process requirements.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication to ensure alignment on goals, risks, and project status.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI process to enhance efficiency and cycle time.
• Support risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions during development phases.
• Job Qualification • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or project management.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth product launches.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes, design principles, product development cycles, and manufacturing workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience working in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) or education in Project Management are beneficial.
