What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development of the account strategy and take ownership of its day-to-day execution across customer engagement, opportunity management, RFQ support, pipeline visibility and internal coordination Understand the customer's vision and strategy, opportunities and issues, short and long term to seek for areas where NXP can add value Identify and qualify new design‑in and socket opportunities aligned to customer vehicle platforms and roadmaps to drive customer engagement on main business growth opportunities Act as a key operational interface with engineering, purchasing and program management teams, ensuring customer insights are captured, shared internally and translated into concrete business actions Manage long‑term automotive programs across design‑in, SOP, production, and lifecycle phases.
- Support automotive RFQs, pricing reviews, and Long‑Term Agreements Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, and revenue forecasting Collaborate with FAEs, product marketing, and engineering teams to align product positioning with OEM cost, performance, and safety requirements.
- Partner with Supply Chain & Operations on demand planning, lifecycle management, and program continuity.
- Required Qualifications & Skills Success in this role requires strong understanding of automotive system architectures, OEM cost structures, long‑cycle programs, and a willingness to continuously upskill in the evolving automotive technology landscape.
- A minimum of 8 years of Sales and Business Development experience supporting global automotive customers Advanced degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred), Business, or equivalent experience.
- Proven negotiation skills, externally with customers and internally with cross‑functional teams Understanding of automotive ECUs, network architectures (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and familiarity with semiconductor product categories (MCUs, SoCs, analog, power, sensors) Ability to rapidly absorb new technical and automotive domain knowledge Strong market intelligence and analytical skills with the ability to identify, connect and prioritize customer requirements, uncover implicit needs, and build compelling value propositions supported by a clear business narrative.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Excellent program tracking, follow‑through, and execution discipline Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in English.
- German and Italian are a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to drive alignment and influence without direct authority Willing to travel (mainly Italy and Germany but including EMEA and WW) Team player in a global and multi-cultural environment Success Metrics Contribution to automotive design wins and revenue growth Accuracy and reliability of pipeline and program forecasts Quality of customer engagement and responsiveness More information about NXP in France... #LI-8e4d
