Implant Maintenance Tech - N1 Tech

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or military training preferred • 3+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment (implant experience preferred) • Proven troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals • Experience working in a cleanroom environment and following strict safety protocols • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness to work compressed workweek, night shift, or on-call support as needed Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with Axcelis ion implant systems (e.g., Purion platform) • Experience with Varian (Vista) implanters or similar legacy implant platforms • Demonstrated expertise in advanced fault isolation and root cause analysis on implant tools • Familiarity with SPC, fault detection systems (FDC), and equipment automation systems • Experience supporting tool installations, upgrades, and qualifications • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of increasing tool uptime and reliability More information about NXP in the United States...
