ENGINEERING SERVICES PC BOARD DESIGN

About This Role

• (not Job Level specific): The PC board design Engineer / Architect assists engineers in the design and development of complex and detailed layouts of printed circuit boards.
• Collaborates in developing state-of-the-art designs of new or modified, high-density, printed circuit boards.
• Establishes design standards and configurations.
• Works from preliminary schematics, part lists and basic description of the board function, configuration and arrangement as defined by engineering.
• Trains drafters in the completion of drawings and specifications.
• May perform the checking of design layouts and detailed drawings.
• Educational Background Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications, or a related field Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design and analysis 2.
• Technical Skills Familiar with the full hardware development process (Design → Verification → Validation) Expertise in one or more of the following areas: High-speed signal design (Signal Integrity) Power design (Power Integrity / PMIC) PCB layout and SI/PI analysis Semiconductor testing or ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) architecture Proficient with related design and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Allegro, ADS, HFSS) 3.
• System Integration & Testing Strong hardware debugging and issue analysis skills System integration experience is a plus 4.
• Language Skills Intermediate or above proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) Ability to communicate effectively in a global team environment 5.
• Work Experience Typically 5–10+ years of relevant experience (for senior or principal roles) Experience in semiconductor, consumer electronics, or server hardware industries is preferred 6.
