What You'll Do
- crafting a voice, handling our reputation, and accomplishing high-impact PR initiatives that align with global standards while resonating with Korean collaborators.
- What you'll be doing: Global HQ Alignment & Cross-Regional Collaboration : Closely with the Global PR & Communications team to ensure all local initiatives align with global messaging, brand positioning, and timelines.
- Localized Communication Strategy : Translate and adapt global narratives into culturally relevant and locally resonant messaging for the Korean market.
- Develop Korea-specific communication plans that reflect market dynamics, consumer sentiment, and regulatory considerations Media Relations & Thought Leadership : Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media, including business, tech, and broadcast journalists.
- Proactively identify media opportunities, including interviews, bylines, and speaking engagements.
- Manage press briefings, media events, and exclusive stories to strengthen brand positioning Real-Time PR Management : Lead rapid response communications in a fast-paced news environment.
- Collaborate with digital and social teams to ensure consistent messaging across owned and earned channels Integrated Product PR Execution: Ensure PR initiatives contribute to both brand awareness and business objectives What we need to see: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in PR or Corporate Communications.
- Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) or a company with a strong HQ-Branch reporting structure is highly preferred.
- Global Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate effectively with remote teams across different time zones.
- Media Savvy: A strong network within Korean media and experience managing high-pressure public-sector dialogues.
- Bilingual Excellence: Native-level fluency in Korean and professional-level proficiency in English.
- Ability to accurately translate and adapt global strategies for local execution.
- Strategic Agility: Ability to balance the fast-paced needs of the local market with the long-term strategic requirements of Global HQ.
