• The test engineer intern should be able to set up and maintain computer hardware, modify and run automation scripts, use applications and other tools to provide performance information.
• The candidate needs to understand the basics of 3D graphics (anti-aliasing, filtering, shader etc.), know NVIDIA products and their specs.
• Passion for PC gaming and graphics tech is a must.
• What you’ll be doing: Build, set up and configure computer systems with appropriate hardware and software to run benchmarks on various systems.
• Run performance tests of GPUs and other system components.
• Analyze and validate results from test runs and create reports.
• What we need to see: Pursuing a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field Experienced and passionate PC gamer, with a good understanding of in-game settings and graphics technologies.
• Good understanding of 3D application performance testing methods and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Familiarity with NVIDIA GEFORCE series and NVIDIA software products (NVIDIA App, GeForce Now, Gameworks).
• Good knowledge of PC systems and components, ability to build and maintain test machines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ways to stand out from the crowd: Strong skills in benchmarking and competitive analysis.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python) Familiarity with hypervisors and virtualization (Xen, VMWare, KVM, VirtualBox).
• Understanding of cloud gaming technology.
