Logic Design Engineer, CPU Core

Overview

• The NVIDIA CPU team is a world-class, global organization united by a mission to push the boundaries of what’s possible and shape the future of computing.
• We are looking for a talented, fast-learning and highly motivated Logic Design Engineer to join our team.
• As part of the core design team, you’ll take ownership of parts of the design and work closely with architecture, verification, and physical design teams, contributing to a fast-moving, technology-focused environment and helping shape future products.
• What you'll be doing: As part of the CPU core team, you’ll take ownership of a unit.
• Contributing to the micro-architecture, writing RTL and documentation.
• Working closely with verification and implementation teams to meet timing, area, performance, and power goals.
• What we need to see: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in processor or other related high-performance semiconductor designs.
• Hardware description language expertise required Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ways to stand out from the crowd: A strong background in computer architecture is highly desirable.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) is a plus.
