About This Role

- You will have the unique opportunity to team up with architects, designers and cross-functional teams to set up post-Silicon validation environments, define test content, execute validation plans, and measure, analyze and report CPU's power and performance validation results.
- Key Responsibilities: Support power, thermal and performance validation of silicon products.
- Assist in debugging efforts, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions to ensure product quality.
- Perform data analysis for validation metrics to assess coverage and product readiness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of validation infrastructure and test environments.
- Participate in test automation efforts to enhance validation efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a cohesive validation workflow.
- Develop technical expertise by exploring system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.

Requirements
- are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Currently pursuing a BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation).
- Advanced English level. 6+ months of experience in: Programming skills in Python or C/C++.
- Analog Electronics, circuit analysis, and data analysis techniques.
- Foundational knowledge of system architecture and/or SoC microarchitecture.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience applied to electronic circuits and/or computer systems.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
- Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience using electronic lab test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems).
- Debug skills and experience using scripting languages.
- Experience with test automation and/or writing validation scripts.
- Knowledge of post-silicon validation, power and performance characterization, or post-silicon debug methodologies.
