About This Role
- This is a commission-based technical specialist position within Intel's India SMG (Sales and Marketing Group).
- With technical expertise, the Telco core / 5G solution specialist is responsible for influencing and enabling end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, partners to implement 5G air interface, access, edge, and core solutions by adopting Intel's products and technologies.
- Will be responsible for large Telco providers in India A Solution Architect (Telecom) bridges the gap between technical aspects and sales goals.
- You'll leverage your knowledge of telecommunication technologies and services to support the sales team in identifying customer needs, crafting solutions, and closing deals.
- Ability to bridge the technical gap and translate complex solutions into clear benefits will be instrumental in securing new clients and driving business growth.
- Primary Responsibilities: • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of telecom products and services, including mobile plans, internet connectivity, data solutions, and potentially cloud-based offerings. • Customer Focus: Qualify leads, understand customer requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. • Solution Selling: Design and propose customised telecom solutions that address customer pain points and align with business objectives. • Presentations and Demos: Craft compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase Intel's value proposition. • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal creation and presentations. • Market Awareness: Stay updated on the latest telecom industry trends and competitor landscape.
- Job roles definition but not limited to : • Identifying and driving Intel product portfolio opportunities by enabling solutions architecture, integration design, and sharing implementation practices in the 5G network infrastructure and precursor technologies, special on Virtual RAN/ O-RAN. • Supporting field design win with Intel 5G infrastructure solutions (RAN), responsible for enabling the overall architecture, solution optimization/customization on top of Intel hardware and software platform • The successful candidate would work with end customers and ecosystem partners in the pre and post-sales phases. • Gathering and transforming field internal and external partner's requirements to for 5G network infrastructure and air interface related architecture and design specifications. • Well versed in adjacent trends and technologies such as Cellular IOT, Cloud, Analytics and Network Virtualization (Telco Cloud). • Developing strong relationships with customers, engineering and product teams to be trusted advisor to drive solution improvements • Conducting deep dive technical training of Intel 5G network infrastructure and air interface solutions • Use experience, knowledge and customer relations to Influence Intel's strategies and contributions to relevant industry standardization work such as 3GPP. • Should also have a fair knowledge on Enterprise applications / Cloud and some bit on AI Methodology. • Ideally the successful candidate has a University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. • Deep understanding of RAN architecture including protocol stacks, deployments scenarios and implementation using ASIC, FPGA, custom silicon, and IA solutions for access, edge, and core network infrastructure solutions. • Comprehensive understanding of NFV/SDN, Cloud infrastructure and the overall network transformation underway within Comms industry required to understand 5G end-to-end. • Strong communication skills to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent in a related field with 10+ years of experience, with 10+ years of experience in a technical role within a large system integrator or Enterprise with a strong track record of selling telco based solution and have a fair knowledge on Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid), Datacenter technologies, AI solutions, edge computing technology.
- Can demonstrate strong technical sales skillset with hands-on skills to demonstrate solutions to the customers; candidate should have 10+ years of pre-sales or consulting experience in the enterprise-oriented IT software/service/solution market.
- Result-driven with a can-do attitude to deal with opportunities and arising challenges. • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of AI, GenAI concepts and Use Cases • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and craft solutions. • Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with the sales and technical teams.
