About This Role
- Intel's Graphics Software Engineering Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Software Development Engineer to contribute to the development and enablement of Intel GPUs through innovative software solutions.
- This position is suited for an experienced/senior full-stack software engineer, preferably with a background in building data-intensive systems and data pipelines, including AI-powered solutions.
- We are looking for an engineer who will help develop internal software platforms used daily by graphics software and hardware engineers.
- You will participate in all phases of platform development, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation, and will work closely with graphics domain experts on Intel's latest graphics products.

- Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with graphics domain experts and multiple teams across the organisation, across different geographic locations, to gather and refine requirements while building and evolving a key internal platform that is part of the broader graphics development ecosystem.
- Design, build, and test new services in a distributed ecosystem that processes and analyses graphics driver telemetry data used widely by software and hardware engineers.
- You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to validation.
- Work across the stack, including (but not limited to) databases, backend and frontend services, and AI‑based technologies.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the platform, including operating production services, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving existing components.
- Influence how the team works and how the platform is built and maintained, contributing to areas such as development practices, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and work organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of industry experience in research, development, product development, and/or validation, or a Master's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of C#/.NET and SQL.
- Hands-on experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal (in English) Strong ability to work independently on complex problems.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience developing AI-based solutions, including deep neural networks (DNNs), computer vision, and large language models (LLMs).
- Experience developing data ingestion, integration, and ETL solutions.
