About This Role

  • Summary Contributes to the design and optimization of manufacturing engineering processes and factory operation Assists in evaluating equipment performance, implementing corrective actions, and supporting process improvements Collaborates with engineering and operations teams to enhance production efficiency and product quality As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
  • Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field Completed relevant coursework in semiconductor processing, materials science, or related subjects.

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship or research experience in semiconductor processing or related areas Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication equipment and processes, such as lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, JMP) and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) Experience with experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines Demonstrated creativity and innovation in problem-solving Any relevant publications or presentations in the field of semiconductor technology Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
