- Key Responsibilities Own and maintain critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring optimal functionality and production efficiency.
- Conduct tests and measurements to maintain control over essential process parameters, such as critical dimensions and defectivity.
- Recommend and implement process and equipment modifications to improve production techniques, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Drive the growth of in-situ manufacturing capacity to high volumes, demonstrating technology capabilities while transferring knowledge to global manufacturing counterparts.
- Execute maintenance and repair activities for equipment and related module components, ensuring seamless operations.
- Continuously improve equipment and process performance metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, and yield, while addressing defect prevention.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to enhance operational reliability and align processes with high-volume manufacturing requirements.
- Lead process development for next-generation high-volume process nodes, advancing Intel's competitive edge.
- Participate in global technology transfer through training, audits, and qualification outcomes to ensure consistent processing across sites.
- Develop and implement excursion prevention systems to detect and address discrepancies in equipment or process activities.
- Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps, ensuring timely and safe execution that meets all quality and manufacturing readiness criteria.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, and 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and process characterization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and defect reduction.
- Hands-on experience with equipment monitoring and adjustment to ensure manufacturability and production reliability.
- Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process control and high-volume production environments.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to implement process changes and technology transfer.
- Proven ability to lead projects and deliver measurable outcomes in safety, quality, and cost performance.
- Strong communication and analytical skills to drive actionable insights and process optimization.
