  • Key Responsibilities - Implement and manage environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all local, regional, and Intel EHS standards. - Conduct EHS incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence. - Oversee environmental permitting, licenses, certifications, and external reporting, ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner. - Perform workplace risk assessments and safety hazard evaluations to identify potential dangers and recommend risk mitigation strategies. - Monitor workplace environments to evaluate factors that may impact employee health, such as exposure to hazardous waste or pollutants, and maintain accurate records of findings. - Conduct EHS audits to identify risks, assess environmental impacts, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures. - Provide training to employees on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and preventive measures through structured EHS programs. - Stay up to date with evolving EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. - Prepare detailed reports and documentation of inspections, audits, and risk assessments, providing actionable insights for leadership. - Serve as the EHS subject matter expert supporting factory operations, tool installation, equipment qualification, and sustaining manufacturing activities. - Lead or support Industrial Hygiene programs including exposure assessments, chemical safety, ventilation systems, noise monitoring, and occupational health initiatives. - Support and manage critical safety programs including contractor safety, electrical safety, LOTO, working at heights, confined space entry, and radiation safety. - Analyze EHS performance data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Partner closely with engineers, operations leaders, facilities teams, and contractors while influencing stakeholders to increase ownership and accountability for EHS performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience as per business needs. - 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety with a bachelor's degree, or 1+ year with a master's degree. - Proficiency in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and problem-solving in EHS domains. - Ability to conduct workplace assessments and audits, including knowledge of environmental permitting and EHS incident investigations. - Familiarity with EHS standards, regulatory bodies, and best practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication and critical thinking skills with an emphasis on continuous process improvement and innovation. - Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence positive safety outcomes. - Enthusiasm for promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility. - Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. - Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CIH, CSP, ISO Lead Auditor, Radiation Safety, or equivalent.
