• Key Responsibilities - Oversee the qualification of manufacturing ramps into high-volume production to ensure product and process quality and reliability. - Specify inspection and testing mechanisms, conduct quality assessments, and audit processes to guarantee compliance with quality standards. - Develop and monitor health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability, driving cost optimization and manufacturing efficiency. - Represent the quality and reliability function in engineering forums, offering quality improvement recommendations. - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and establish proactive quality programs in the factories. - Lead excursion management, including early detection, containment, and risk assessment of discrepancies, while implementing systems to mitigate future occurrences. - Manage change control and supplier audits while driving supplier continuous improvement efforts. - Synthesize structured and unstructured data using statistics and machine learning to make data-driven decisions on product and system dispositions. - Respond to customer-reported manufacturing issues, providing engineering solutions to address concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
