About This Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning and Development Specialist to strengthen our manufacturing workforce through robust and engaging employee training programs.
  • This role will focus on assessing skill gaps, designing industry-specific training solutions, facilitating technical and compliance-driven sessions, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement on the factory floor and beyond.
  • The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and adult learning principles.
  • Key Responsibilities: Conduct needs assessments to identify critical skill gaps and training requirements for production, quality, safety, maintenance, and supervisory staff within a manufacturing environment.
  • Design, develop, and deliver effective technical, compliance, safety, onboarding, and professional development training - including hands-on, classroom, e-learning, and blended formats.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate documentation of training records as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Research and integrate new training technologies and best practices tailored to a manufacturing environment.
  • Support change management related to process improvements Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
  • Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning theory or a related field At least 1 year of relevant experience in L&D Experience designing and delivering training in a manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS); experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) is a plus.
