About This Role
- The Role and Impact: As a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of manufacturing ramps to high-volume production while maintaining the highest quality and reliability standards.

- Key Responsibilities: Own the qualification process for manufacturing ramps to high volume, ensuring the quality and reliability of products and processes sustainably meet organizational requirements.
- Specify inspection and testing mechanisms, conduct quality assessments and audits, and evaluate materials, processes, and techniques to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability to drive cost optimization and volume upside efforts.
- Lead continuous process improvement and proactive quality programs to develop a quality culture mindset within factory environments.
- Represent the quality and reliability function in product engineering and development forums, offering recommendations to improve system, process, and product reliability.
- Manage excursions, change control, supplier audits, and supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement systems for early detection, containment of excursions, and risk assessments, while ensuring effective disposition of discrepant material.
- Use statistics and machine learning to synthesize insights from data for making informed decisions about products and systems that do not meet specifications.
- Address customer-reported issues related to manufacturing and design engineering solutions that improve both customer experience and product reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field such as Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent experience. 0-1+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and methods.
- Knowledge of inspection and testing mechanisms, as well as risk analysis methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Engineering fields such as Materials, Electronics, Mechanical, or Chemical with no years of experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and impactful challenges in quality-related processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
