About This Role

  • Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our Central team, specializing in the analysis of Intel Product Build Cost and Sales Cost.
  • This role is critical in supporting data-driven decision making through comprehensive cost analysis and reporting.
  • Key Responsibilities include: Cost Analysis Analyze and monitor build and sales cost for CCG and DCG in support of Close, CQU, and POR financial cycle activities.
  • Identify cost trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual costs to forecasts.
  • Data Management and Reporting Extract, compile, and analyze data from multiple systems and databases to support all Intel Product group needs under Cost and Inventory Central Team.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive cost reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis to support team projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
  • Strategic Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAO and BU Central PnL Teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
  • Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in manufacturing or sales cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and dashboard creation.
  • Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
