About This Role
- This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
- Industrial engineers develop metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- Based on these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
- As an industrial engineer, the primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performs a key role in the integration of the new products, module run rate, and capacity analysis.
- Engages with stakeholders to ensure capacity requirements are correctly mapped according to the product roadmap, pace loading, and build plans.
- Leads interdisciplinary teams towards the removal of roadblocks to achieve key milestones.
- Coordinates/performs WIF capacity assessments to identify capacity risks.
- Validates the product performance as part of the factory certification process.
- Carry out in-depth studies of new equipment mechanisms to fully understand the tool capability and identify CIP opportunities Leads equipment metric models design, validation method development, and process change ratification.
- Sustains MOR to ensure actual match with model, able to deep dive into data analysis, drive productivity improvement roadmap.
- Provide solutions to a wide range of identified problems, including virtual factory capacity and resource optimization to meet schedules and cost targets.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications are required for initial consideration for this position. - Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, engineering fields, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or business-related fields. - At least 2 years of experience in the following: Structured Problem Solving, A3, and PDCA cycles.
- Data processing, analysis, and visualization, including Excel, JMP, SQL Pathfinder, and Power BI.
- Reporting and Data Monitoring.
- Driven capacity and efficiency cost improvement projects. - Strong English verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical skills -Ability to work effectively independently with minimal direction and as part of a larger team. -Will consider fresh graduates with a strong learning attitude and a positive mindset.
Nice to Have
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with industrial engineering works, factory physics, and flow.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing capacity management in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge in capacity planning and capital equipment management.
- Experience in equipment/process engineering and understanding of tools, mechanisms, and machine behaviors.
