About This Role

  • Join Intel as a Product Failure Analysis Engineer, where your expertise will contribute to enhancing the performance, quality, and reliability of industry-leading technologies.
  • In this role, you will drive comprehensive failure analysis across Intel SoC, CPU, and Discrete Graphics platform products, playing a pivotal role in identifying failures and implementing corrective measures to elevate product yield and reliability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and deploy innovative methodologies, drive automation, and ensure robust processes that push the boundaries of technology.
  • Your contributions will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver world-class products at scale, shaping the future of computing.
  • Key Responsibilities - Perform Failure Analysis and root cause investigations on Intel products - Conduct physical Failure Analysis to identify defects and recommend corrective actions to design, fab, assembly, and test teams to improve product quality and reliability. - Collaborate on new product and technology transfer, supporting process improvements in Failure Analysis tools and methodologies. - Develop and proliferate innovative Failure Analysis techniques and solutions across Intel sites. - Maintain and improve Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as well as control plans throughout product lifecycles. - Lead strategic Failure Analysis initiatives for future technologies, leveraging advanced analytical tools and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Microelectronics Engineering or a related field of study - Fresh graduate in relevant field encourage to apply. - Proficiency in one or more of the following technical areas: Failure Analysis techniques, device physics, circuit analysis, layout analysis and knowledge on wafer fabrication processes Preferred Qualifications - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated through academic or professional experience. - Ability to work collaboratively within diverse, cross-functional teams, showcasing excellent teamwork and a positive mindset. - Effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear articulation of findings and solutions.
