About This Role
- Contributes to the design, development, and validation of system software across one or more layers of the software stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware to enable Intel platforms and technologies.
- Engages in cross stack software optimization and contributes to reference platform development for specific domains and market segments.
- As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor or master degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - Foundational knowledge and experience in driver development and high-level software design. - Proficiency in software debug techniques and problem-solving methods. - Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and validation.
- Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical concepts clearly. - Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. - Passion for innovation and eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
