About This Role

- GPO Materials Planning Analyst is responsible for the planning of the materials needed for assy/test manufacturing.
- Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to coordinate, optimize, and communicate materials forecasts.
- These forecasts could include near term and long term, engineering and revenue production, direct and indirect materials.
- Will need to incorporate business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer requirements in collaboration with cross organizational stakeholders.
- Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate key stakeholder and management levels.
- Drives continuous process/project improvements.
Requirements

- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- KNOWLEDGE: A solid understanding of Intel planning systems and processes is strongly preferred.
- Experience with direct materials commodities and supplier management is desirable.
- Knowledge of Intel demand/forecasting processes and systems, including how they connect to other systems, is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean principles and practices also a plus.
- SKILLS: Seeking proven ability in critical thinking, communication, tolerance for ambiguity, bias for action, attention to detail, biz acumen, managing projects and processes, partnering, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated track record of learning quickly and collaborating with partner organizations.
- Comfortable working directly with senior management and influencing at that level, with a demonstrated record of doing so.
- Successful performance in a multi-faceted role is desired.
- Strong time management skills are critical to this role.
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's in business-related field plus 5-7 years of Intel planning experience or MBA plus 3-5 years of Intel planning experience.
- Experience working directly with Intel suppliers strongly desired.
- Experience with Lean and implementing Lean principles in an organization also strongly desired.
- Previous experience in Supply Planning Operations is desirable, but not required.
