About This Role
- The Role and Impact As an Industry Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving Intel's business growth and fostering deep, strategic engagements with senior leaders and technology decision-makers within the industry.
- You will advocate for Intel's cutting-edge products and solutions while leveraging your technical expertise to develop advanced solutions that address complex customer challenges.
- Your contributions will be instrumental in positioning Intel as a trusted advisor, creating demand for our products, and shaping the future of technology adoption across enterprise, cloud, and public sector segments.
- Key Responsibilities Advocate for Intel's products and solutions through a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to IT and business challenges.
- Build and maintain strategic technical relationships with key customers and partners, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Develop technically advanced solutions that address customer business problems while driving pull for Intel's products and solutions.
- Collaborate with Intel business units and external stakeholders, including Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), SaaS providers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Solution Integrators/Managed Service Providers (SI/MSP), to maximize the utilization of Intel's product capabilities.
- Drive end-customer deal wins and open new market segments by offering innovative solutions for cloud-based services.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of industry trends and Intel's product portfolio to deliver impactful solutions.
- Gather customer feedback to understand satisfaction drivers and incorporate valuable insights into product and solution development.
- Convey technical customer and partner requirements to Intel's product development teams to influence strategic roadmaps.
- Deliver impactful presentations and keynotes at industry forums and customer events to position Intel as a thought leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in technical sales, solution development, or business development roles within the industry.
- Proficiency in AI, Edge to Cloud solutions, server infrastructure, and networking technologies.
- Proven success in planning and executing infrastructure architecture discussions with Telco/Cloud Service Providers.
- Demonstrated ability to influence General Manager or Director-level stakeholders.
- Ability to lead technical sessions in server technologies and communicate complex solutions effectively.
- Strong organizational discipline and focus on delivering measurable results.
- Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in solution sales or business development roles, preferably within the Telco/Cloud Service Provider industry.
- Proven track record of delivering technical sales results for Service Provider customers.
- Deep industry knowledge, insights, and experience building executive-level relationships.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to succeed.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with high levels of ambiguity and tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical, marketing, operations, and leadership teams.
