- Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) group is looking for a highly motivated Factory Automation Support Engineer - Government Programs.
- This role requires a compressed work-week schedule.
- Onsite work is required.
- Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported.
- SHIFT 6 (Compressed Night Back - 2, 3, or 4 day workweek that begins in the second half of the week.
- More than half the hours worked are between midnight and 7:00 am.) Key Responsibilities: Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Applications, Databases, or Platforms/Infrastructure in Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
- Provide next-level support for specific Intel applications for Intel's worldwide factory network.
- Perform project work including software installation activities, Automation software product hardening, and CIP software development as needed.
- Work Environment: Candidate should thrive in a fast-paced setting where adaptability and flexibility are essential.
- They will quickly learn business models to solve problems and troubleshoot systems that support the factory applications that track material, control semiconductor processing, and analyze data critical to the success of the manufacturing process.
- The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience. 1+ years of experience in Java, Python, C# or other object-oriented programming language. 1+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline. 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation.
- Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $111,030.00-211,200.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
