- Key Responsibilities - Conduct audits and analyses of electrical systems to monitor performance, compliance, and reliability. - Develop, review, and approve electrical specifications and maintenance procedures for power supply units and backup systems. - Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity forecasting, and system performance, and establish virtual sensors to flag adverse trends. - Create and manage work plans to analyze and correct adverse trends, as well as schedules for repair and maintenance. - Review test reports, perform life-extension evaluations, and plan long-term end-of-life replacement projects. - Collaborate with construction, design, and field operations teams on electrical engineering projects. - Model electrical distribution systems, troubleshoot system issues, and conduct breaker coordination and arc flash studies. - Manage critical spare parts inventory and drive quality assurance with electrical utility providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with 0-2 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in electrical engineering with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in electrical system modeling tools and software. - Knowledge of breaker coordination and arc flash studies. - Familiarity with electrical system compliance standards and KPIs.
