About This Role
- The Role and Impact Intel is seeking an experienced, motivated, and strategic leader to join our team as the EMEA Export Controls & Sanctions Compliance Director.
- In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Intel's global operations remain compliant with export controls and sanctions laws and regulations while driving business growth across the EMEA region.

- Key Responsibilities Lead team responsible for compliance with export controls and sanctions compliance across EMEA, including EU level, national, and applicable U.S. re export requirements.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-risk regulatory matters.
- Define and drive EMEA regulatory strategy aligned with business priorities and global trade governance.
- Advise senior business leaders on compliant, commercially viable solutions.
- Represent Intel before EMEA regulatory authorities and engage with relevant trade associations.
- Maintain effectiveness of Intel's EMEA export controls and sanctions compliance program.
- Lead export and sanctions compliance activities for EMEA related M&A.
- Develop and sustain a high performing regional compliance team.
- Serve as a role model for Intel's culture and values within the organization, fostering an inclusive and productive environment.
- Inspire and develop team capabilities, ensuring alignment with Intel's strategic vision.
- Required Skills & Experience Expertise in EU export controls and sanctions compliance, risk management, and related processes.
- Proficiency in policy development, advocacy, and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a complex global environment.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory risks.
- Preferred Skills & Experience Demonstrated leadership in a regional or global compliance organization.
- Exceptional executive presence with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience engaging with regulators, authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Experience in building inclusive teams and promoting a collaborative culture.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in export controls and sanctions, with a track record of advising business stakeholders on EMEA and U.S. regulatory regimes.
