About This Role

  • In this role, you will work on validating high speed interconnections and protocols at cutting ‑ edge speeds that enable the next generation of Data Centers and 5G Base Stations.

  • Key Responsibilities Execution and tracking of electrical validation test plans defined in validation strategies of the Analog Front End (AFE) and end ‑ to ‑ end interconnections across silicon designs.
  • Perform test setups and configurations across interfaces such as HSIO (UCIe, PCIe) & Networking (Eth, CPRI) & Mem (DDR5, LPDDR5x).
  • Across link speeds ranging from: 1G, 2.5G, 10G, 25G, and up to 100G, including NRZ and PAM4 signaling.
  • Validate conformance to industry standards and Intel specifications, supporting both single ‑ protocol and multi ‑ protocol implementations.
  • Apply Intel ‑ developed validation disciplines, including: Signal Integrity (SI) Validation System Marginality Validation Interoperability methodologies and processes Develop debug documentation with lab experiences during execution and system issues resolution.
  • Investigate and support resolution of complex issues involving hardware, BIOS, firmware, and operating system interactions.
  • Collaborate with core team and support requests by translating validation results/findings into actionable execution solutions.

  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. +2 year of experience in: Signal integrity, electronic circuit analysis, and data analysis techniques System Validation, electronic circuit analysis, and data analysis techniques Intermediate English level.
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Nice to Have

  • Experience validating high ‑ speed interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Bit Error Rate testers and high bandwidth oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with AFE validation and end ‑ to ‑ end system validation.
  • Experience with interoperability testing across multiple vendors or platforms.
  • Knowledge of system ‑ level validation spanning silicon, platform, and software layers.
  • A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.
