- Position Overview: We are growing our silicon team, seeking experienced designers passionate about innovation at the intersection between emerging semiconductor technology and novel computing paradigms.
- As a member of Intel's neuromorphic silicon team, you will contribute across a range of design levels and methodologies, from writing RTL to integrating and validating IP to enabling emulation flows on FPGA platforms.
- Candidates should be familiar with front-end and back-end design cycles as well as FPGA prototyping.
- You will work with architects, RTL designers, verification engineers and software developers to achieve product quality and performance KPIs.
- An openness to learning new technologies and methodologies, such as asynchronous design, is essential.
What You'll Do
- Model, prototype, and document new features for improving product KPIs and expanding workload breadth.
- Evaluate tradeoffs in partnership with architects and algorithms researchers.
- Work with verification engineers to debug test failures and identify design/RTL bugs.
- Enable application-level pre-silicon verification and accelerate the software development lifecycle by working with system software developers.

Requirements
- Bachelors and 5+ years or Masters and 3+ years in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in ASIC designs or FPGA prototyping platforms. 3+ years of proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++.
Nice to Have
- Experience with pre-silicon customer enablement on FPGA platforms.
- Experience with large scale FPGA platforms like HAPS and/or emulation frameworks like ZeBu.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $164,470.00-269,100.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
