About This Role
- The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Own and manage OCOS spending across DCAI, ensuring alignment to operating plans and PNL commitments.
- Proactively drive OCOS spending reductions and optimization initiatives in partnership with DCAI stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.
- Provide OCOS insights and recommendations to leadership, including risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
- Represent DCAI OCOS performance in the IP Profitability forum, including preparation of materials and narratives.
- Forecasting, POR, and Close Support Lead OCOS support for Plan of Record (POR), bi-weekly forecasting, and monthly close activities.
- Partner with Operations and Intel Foundry Finance to align on foundry-related costs and support assumptions.
- Ensure collateral spending alignment with Operations and Intel Foundry Finance for POR and Close cycles.
- Align MWP forecasts between Intel Foundry Finance and the DCAI MWP Analyst, resolving gaps and inconsistencies.
- Close and Variance Analysis Own OCOS variance explanations as part of the monthly close process, including: Actuals vs.
- POR, CTQ, and Prior Year Drivers by cost category, program, and operational factor Deliver clear, concise financial narratives suitable for senior finance and business leadership.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness across all OCOS reporting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership Act as a trusted finance partner to DCAI Operation and Foundry Finance Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders Support continuous improvement of forecasting and cost-tracking processes related to OCOS.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or cost management.
- Advanced understanding of PNL mechanics, cost of sales, and forecasting processes.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Nice to Have
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience supporting POR, forecast, and close cycles in a matrixed organization is a plus.
